Kain Tapper (6 June 1930, in Saarijärvi – 17 August 2004) was a Finnish sculptor. He created works that are "remote", evoking things contemplated from a distance. Even when small, his pieces loom like menhirs, their massiveness imposing an inhuman scale.1 He combined nature and natural phenomena, old folklore and modernism.2 He epitomised the Informalist style in Finnish sculpture.3 Tapper created a sculpture of Finnish poet Ilmari Kianto situated near Turja's Castle in Suomussalmi.4 ==External links== *1 (A Universal Finn by Peter Schjeldahl ) - essay on Tapper's work *² (Finnish Culture ) (brief reference) *³ (All that glitters in Helsinki ) thisisFINLLAND *4 (Biography of Ilmari Kianto ) (brief reference to Tapper's sculpture of Kianto) 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Kain Tapper」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
